This is a very nice French 2nd Empire Model 1852 Officers Sword complete with its brass mounted leather scabbard. The sword is in fair condition but has some issues. The blade does not retain much of its original etchings. This is a very difficult model of sword to find, dating before the Franco Prussian War.
